That is very typical of Lufthansa. (The FA barking at the passengers about this) Cathay Pacific also asks for people to put their seat up during the meal time.

Cathay Pacific also asks for people to put their seat up during the meal time. However they're incredibly polite about it.
- totalZero 9y agoYeah... I wouldn't have a problem with a polite request. I thought the FA was totally out of line, certainly by American standards. I had been traveling for about 55 hours by that time, on my way to Italy from a small fishing village in South America, so I was exhausted and didn't really appreciate the rudeness. I figured it was a Lufthansa thing and now I stay away from them. I haven't had the pleasure of flying Cathay Pacific yet, but I hear it's nice.
