But assuming for the sake of argument that some of these observations are actually founded in somthing real, then where on earth does the idea of aliens enter the picture? Bugs or vira in the metaprogram sound no more farfetched, nor does my personal favourite, that it's just our great^n grandchildren visiting from a more or less distant future.
