- macintux 9y agoThere have been some astonishingly good television programs to come out of broadcast television. West Wing, MASH... Wait, I'm sure there have been more. Right? Yeah, never mind.
- wu_tang_chris 9y agoFrasier
- scarface74 9y agoDidn't Frasier have a laugh track? I can't watch anything with a laugh track.
- devmunchies 9y agoYes. I tried watching it after moving to Seattle (cliché, I know), but couldn't bear it because of the laugh track.
- dudul 9y agoGranted, but it was still a very good TV show. Actually liked it better than Cheers.
- labster 9y agoStar Trek. I mean, for certain values of "astonishingly".
- macintux 9y agoStar Trek gave us a few excellent episodes. I don't think any of the series have been excellent overall, although I'm probably in the minority opinion in that.
- eropple 9y agoI think that's probably a majority opinion. Star Trek's reach always exceeded its grasp. There are excellent episodes and very good seasons (mostly of TNG and DS9) but I don't think I know anyone who'd go to the mat for any of them as consistently excellent.
- Al-Khwarizmi 9y agoMonty Python's Flying Circus.
- macintux 9y agoSimpsons, at least the first several seasons.
- macintux 9y agoScrubs.
- SapphireSun 9y agoThese guys take apart The West Wing. Sad that it's only the teaser, the full episode is excellent. https://soundcloud.com/chapo-trap-house/episode-101-teaser-aaron-dorkchin https://soundcloud.com/chapo-trap-house/episode-101-teaser-a...
