Yes. What the statistic we're seeing here is that women who divorce their spouse are twice as likely to victims of domestic abuse. Is that really a stretch?
- AnimalMuppet 9y agoBecause as the marriage goes bad, the man is more likely to start becoming abusive. Because if the man is abusive, the marriage is more likely to go bad. Both are very likely true. Note well: I am not saying that every divorce is because of abuse. I am not saying that every man in a bad marriage will become an abuser.
