I don't think the size of Sinclair is the relevant benchmark. The profitability and prevalence of the practice is the important part. How much did that sponsorship earn them? How many other sponsored stories are they running? What's the probability of a new sponsored story generating a new fine? Make it so that they lost significantly more than they got doing this, and so that they expect to lose money if they do it again.
