- dedevelopers 9y agoOne motive may be that people don’t comprehend how unequal earning are. In commonplace with the population of other rich nations, most individuals agree with there is an excessive amount of inequality. however they underestimate just how plenty of it there is. The common American puts the contemporary ratio of CEO to unskilled worker pay at thirty-to-one; their choice is for about seven-to-one. but the actual CEO-unskilled salary ratio in america is 354 to at least one.

In pure numbers, this means the US has a lot of people in lower economic standings, which makes the problem hard to solve. 2. The American capitalist system differs in it's approach to inequality than many of the governments in Europe. It's hard to not take governments into account when discussing views on inequality. 3. The American "work ethic" favors striving to become rich; therefore, personal gain is a desired outcome of the process, and less attention is given to the effects it has on others.
