I hear this a lot, but I don't see it. A lot of people move in to management roles, but others just keep writing code. I also don't see why "owning a small bus

I hear this a lot, but I don't see it. A lot of people move in to management roles, but others just keep writing code. I also don't see why "owning a small business" is a virtue in and of itself. Owning a profitable company that doesn't consume my every waking hour would be great. But that's the exception.
