I can imagine one scenario where Woodshed was in dire financial straits and calculated that the brand damage resulting from keeping the game developer's money was worth it.

- matte_black 9y agoI can imagine another scenario where they secretly converted all the money to Bitcoin thinking they could skim a profit from the rising prices and then pay back the client in USD, but now Bitcoin isn't liquid enough and they can't get their money out so they are stuck.
