You could try working somewhere other than London. You'd likely take a paycut, but you'd also probably have cheaper living.
Edinburgh and Newcastle both have thriving tech scenes with plenty of startups needing problems solved badly.
- deadbunny 9y agoNo, my day rate is 2x it'd be anywhere else in the country and the savings wouldn't come close to making up for that. I also like where I live but that doesn't mean I don't get to bitch about the state of the city I work in.
