There are plenty of simple questions that already blow apart the majority of religions if someone is unbiased / not indoctrinated. It would likely just be used as further proof of righteousness and a source of xenophobia by those in control of said religions. "God sent his prophet because we're the chosen species, the only one created in His image. Only He can protect you from the alien threat," garbage like that. It's easy to spin this type of thing when you've thrown all rationality out the window.
