yeah, I'd agree with that. But unfortunately in many situations you have to get it right the first time. It is of course possible to come up with situations that are somewhat similar to what you'll have to face. However, I find it's often hard to approach these situations with the correct mindset. For instance, if you want to train job interviews you could apply for a lot of jobs that don't really interest you. But there is no real motivation for writing compelling cover letters or making every effort in the interview.
