The 'bankers' most responsible are Greenspan and Bernanke. Everyone loves a witch hunt, but blaming the financial crisis on private bankers for legally following misaligned incentives created by the government is ridiculous (and the norm, unfortunately).
- mempko 9y agoYou do realize that most banking regulations and misaligned incentives are written and lobbied for by those same private bankers?
- averagewall 9y agoIt's still politicians that pass laws. Politicians are voted for by American people. Those people just can't help themselves voting for the most well funded candidates. They're blind to the fact that their so called free will choice is determined by lobbyist's payments and refuse to vote for underfunded candidates.
