Seems sort of self serving that the solution is to generate more content for facebook. The next article is going to conclude disabling ad blockers and making microtransactions will finally make you happy.
- bmcooley 9y agoJust because the presented solution serves facebook positively doesn't mean it's bad in some way. It's good to be wary of the bias, but don't dismiss the claim because of it.

- pzone 9y agoTo me it just seems like they're identifying extraverted people and finding they're happier. No surprise, that's been known for decades.
- xapata 9y agoDepends on the research method. If it was only backwards-looking, you'd be correct. However, it sounds like there was an experiment with a control group and a treatment group.
