The fact that other exchanges are worse doesn't make Coinbase any better though, that's the problem. It'd be interesting to see what % of coins is held by them.

While I don't really care about Coinbase per se, I think that it could hurt the public perception of the whole crypto ecosystem if something went wrong and people were locked out of their accounts, lost funds, etc.
