Is this true? I've never been to Germany and don't know many Germans, but this seems surprising to me.
- username223 9y agoI wouldn't be surprised: a lot of Germans used to be East Germans, and the Stasi were pretty thorough in their surveillance. EDIT: Watch "The Lives of Others" when you get a chance. It's a great movie about relating to the subject.
