I have been working with Elixir for a couple months and I just adore it! I found it easy to get up to speed and working competently in a relatively short amount of time. The ecosystem, docs and developer community are robust and getting stronger. I also think that Phoenix will be the next big backend framework, so getting a handle on Elixir in general will help make you a stronger candidate (if you’re interested in web technologies).
