How does it relate to things like fm-indexes [0], searching in the compressed domain or projecting the data into a higher dimensional but flat space? To state of the obvious, we wouldn't need indexes if data was linear and evenly distributed.
Indexing feels like a subset of compression. And compression's logical conclusion is AGI [1].
