I'm not sure I'll ever be convinced that normal people should be operating with cryptocurrencies at the protocol level. This whitepaper goes into a lot of technical detail that users should never be expected to touch.
- jstanley 9y agoThat doesn't make it a bad idea. Over time interfaces would develop so that ordinary users can use it without having to worry about the protocol. It probably is a bad idea, but this isn't why.

- eternalban 9y agoIt appears someone doesn't like this answer (or possibly think I like it), but UBI and implants very likely will go hand in hand. No free lunches in this universe. None.
- cdancette 9y agoI think it's still worth the try, even if it fails. We'll then know better the pitfalls and can avoid them in the future.
