Protip: you can call businesses but you don't have to answer any calls from numbers you don't know or approve. This is a nice balance that I maintain. I used to be phone-shy but at some point I just realised that it's usually the fastest way to get the answers or service I look for.
- rock_hard 9y agoThe phone rings anyways though...and they keep trying relentlessly
- pvdebbe 9y agoYeah, I hate that too.
- Chaebixi 9y agoYou can always mute your phone and join the national do-not-call registry to cut down on the calls.
- pixl97 9y ago>join the national do-not-call registry to cut down on the calls. Buwahahahaha. Yea, like that stops the car warranty and health insurance spammers that fake the caller ID of a local number from ringing you 3 or 4 times a day.
- Chaebixi 9y agoIt's not going to stop everyone, but it will stop some of them. I've been on it for years, and I only get a handful of calls a year from telemarketers (which tend to be the unscrupulous caller-id spoofing kind).
