Ask YC (poll): Trackball, trackpad or mouse?
When working in a desktop do you use/prefer a trackball, a trackpad or a mouse?<p>I've always worked with mouses, and never really tried out a trackball, but they seem like a viable alternative to reduce arm movement.
- dkokelley 19y agoOn a desktop? Mouse for sure. Right now I'm on my laptop and using the trackpad though. I hate the trackballs.
- sah 19y agoMice are bad news for RSI -- you grip them constantly, and make individual finger movements, all while pronating. Trackballs and trackpads are less precise and convenient, but much better for my wrists.
