I got to try an Impossible burger when they had a giveaway event in SF last week and I'd mostly echo tootie's comments about his Beyond burger. It's good, both tastier and more realistic than any other veggie burger I've tried, but the texture is still a tiny bit off. Better than most fast food for sure, I'd say it tasted the most similar to an In n Out burger patty of all the burgers I could compare it to. If you have a discerning palette, you'll probably notice the differences more than I did, but if someone were to hand me one of these after I'd had a couple beers at some concert/festival/sporting event, I probably wouldn't notice that it wasn't actually meat.
