This is something I’ve been idly thinking about too. I agree with regards to committing regularly, but sometimes life happens and one can forget. I’ve been considering writing a python script that checks my local repos for uncommitted/unpushed changes and - now I think about it - perhaps also runs when I start a new terminal session just for good measure.
