it sounds so creepy
- esaym 9y agoIndeed. I almost don't see the point other than to show off amazon turk :/
- mmanfrin 9y agoIt's borderline terrifying. Reminds me of those terror-clown video games at old arcades.
- odiroot 9y agoAudio version of uncanny valley?
- r00fus 9y agoIf zombies could sing. Seriously, part of choral performance is you (as a singer) need to constantly adjust your pitch and timing with others to produce harmonious output. This would be far more interesting if such an effort could be done based on the individual samples by manipulating the audio in real-time.
- kbutler 9y agoAutotune the samples? Lots of software available to do that, but then you get "Intensive Hair Unit" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8coX8VkUKY8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8coX8VkUKY8 I think Bicycle creator's intent was more to demonstrate the "Musical Talent of the Crowd" - the creepiness was a bonus.
- ant6n 9y agoAutotune should sound less odd if the correction is relatively small.
- felipemnoa 9y agoGreat song for a futuristic dystopian movie where AI's have taken over.
