I agree with you, however when you get paid is irrelevant. It's just a matter of having a clear objective and guidelines scoped out in a contract.

- roel_v 9y agoYes, I meant 'agree upfront that you'll get paid at all', not so much that the invoice needs to be paid before you start the work - that was unclear phrasing on my part.
