What would you say is average rent for a studio or ensuite room with decent commute to downtown Tokyo (15-30 minutes by train)? Just trying to get some approximate number.
- bschwindHN 9y agoI'd say around 100,000 to 160,000 yen, of course it's pretty variable based on size, age, and distance to the nearest train station. To give you an example, mine is 26 meters square, built in 2014 (I think, would need to double check), 15 minutes from my door to Shinjuku station, 20 minutes to Shibuya station, and around 110,000 yen in monthly rent.
