I'm pretty sure Amazon launched its own delivery service.
- williamscales 9y agoI'm pretty sure it is not Amazon employees who do the delivering, but contractors.

- dangrossman 9y agoAll Amazon Flex delivery drivers are independent contractors. It's not much different from driving for Uber. My last Amazon package was delivered by a 21 year old in a t-shirt and jeans driving an old Nissan sedan. https://flex.amazon.com/ https://flex.amazon.com/ And they hire independent delivery companies (who themselves can hire contractors to work for them) as well. https://logistics.amazon.com/ https://logistics.amazon.com/
- niij 9y agoI was curious about where Amazon Flex delivered so I went to their site. No indication of whether my area was covered or not so I ended up downloading the app. Once signed in the only location listed was Pennsylvania. Not where I live so instant delete. Not sure why they didn't just put that on the landing page.
- mabbo 9y agoThey did. Amazon logistics. No one who delivers for it are Amazon employees.

- dangrossman 9y agohttps://flex.amazon.com/faqs/ https://flex.amazon.com/faqs/ > As an independent contractor, you are responsible for your own expenses. https://logistics.amazon.com/ https://logistics.amazon.com/ > Delivery providers are local companies that Amazon uses to deliver packages from a central location to our customer's door.
- optimuspaul 9y agoThe amazon delivery drivers in my area are not part of either of those groups, they are amazon fulfillment employees, I've talked to them in person.
