ADHD Management – any tips?

I've recently been diagnosed with ADHD, and am wondering if HN has any management tips. I am wondering if I should start medication, if there are alternative therapies, tips and tricks, etc. Although I've done my own research, the wisdom of the HN crowd has always been very valuable and enlightening.
