Invalid TLS certificates?
- Cyberdog 9y agoSeeing that too. Safari 11 on Mac.
- vhodges 9y agoSelf signed. Don't remember why (but there is a reason). Not sure why he doesn't just use Lets Encrypt.

- ams6110 9y agoSo, when I look at his front page, the claimed SHA256 fingerprint for ca-tedunangst-com.crt is: 049673630a4a8d801a6c17ac727e015fbf951686cdd253d986e9e4d1a8375cba When I try to add that CA to Firefox, it shows the SHA256 fingerprint as AA:DD:6D:06:88:7B:36:60:67:56:00:AB:D0:76:FB:B4:3C:60:10:14:5D:AB:4D:39:06:F8:24:08:4B:14:D2:BE So I should not trust that CA certificate?
- dinedal 9y agoSelf signed cert... should've used Let's Encrypt
- msla 9y agoTed is bound and determined to make a political point out of self-signed certs. Let's Encrypt being free makes absolutely no difference to his belief that self-signing is completely valid and should be accepted by all. The pragmatics of people being able to access his website also seems to make absolutely no difference to him.
