I agree that haskell's type system is far more useful than c/c++. No argument there. I don't find the type system from C# or Java to be anywhere near as useful

I agree that haskell's type system is far more useful than c/c++. No argument there. I don't find the type system from C# or Java to be anywhere near as useful as haskell's. That is part of the problem with the question... there are many different type systems out there that people would call 'static'.
