I'm not a fan of running a hardware firewall that's long since passed its end-of-life date. There have been a number of critical vulnerabilities on these ASAs in the past. I'd rather stick with software that's kept up to date, like PFSense or OpenBSD. Definitely agree on using other cast-off hardware, though.
