Here's something I've noticed when working at a big company. It's extremely easy to get vendors talking to you. They will always call you back. It's actually kind of a big deal, if solutions from third parties can offer significant benefits to what you're working on and you have budget to spend. The flip side is that they always call you. You can't stop them calling you, even after you've told them multiple times you're interested.
