There is now just one team, and most of the engineers are iOS first, giving the people working on the iPhone and iPad more power. It showed when I submitted a feature suggestion for a macOS app and the Apple employee apparently only skimmed the submission, didn’t check the category, and closed it because the feature exists in the iOS app. I resubmitted the feature suggestion and made sure to additionally mention in the description text this is meant for macOS (as the submission category states) so they don’t close it again.
