For something as serious as the initial bug (especially given it was all over the press) there should have been regression tests for this. Either deployment was broken, the tests were broken, there weren't tests, or multiple of the above :\ anyway I'm hypothesizing but would love to see a post-mortem on this. How does a generally reliable company like Apple screw this up twice?
