Saw title... was "Why silicon? I mean that's a hard substance... maybe they mean because it has electronics?" Read article... they mean silicone. Very different substance! Silicone is reasonable well tolerated... though apparently they have a lot solve in regards to durability before such a thing is remotely viable.
