As long as it is also clearly marked meat-free I can't see there being a huge consumer confusion problem.
- YouAreGreat 9y agoMaybe sane people should fight back by marketing a new and very special kind of "veggie burger." Should be smooth sailing as long as they are listing those advanced meat recovery byproducts on the label, right?
- ry_ry 9y agoIs that what this guy is doing, though? Are hardline carnivores actually being duped into buying products containing ingredients they actively avoid, by burying it in packaging smallprint? He seems pretty clear about the whole vegetarian thing tbh. Full disclosure: I like meat.
- Turing_Machine 9y agoI know at least one person (not me) who accidentally bought some veggie crap that was labeled "Chick'n" thinking that it was actually chicken. Google turns up many instances of similar names being used for real chicken.
