The best interviewers have 1 big thing in common : they are the actual team the candidate will be working with.
- mathgeek 9y agoFor short term employment, sure. Teams change, though, so you need to be sure you're hiring for overall ability and not just current fit. Same goes for "culture" as well. There's an argument that "who you'll be working with" as a metric leads to homogenous teams.
