That's a pretty dishonest way of phrasing it. Why must the media constantly lie?
- SheepSlapper 9y agoBecause the truth is boring, and boring doesn't make much money :/
- mc32 9y agoWhich is a bit ironic given the account suspensions on Twitter seem to affect more people on one side of the spectrum. I've seen pretty nasty things said from people on both sides, however, it appears that one side gets shut down more readily than the other, in essence building their own virtual echo wall.

- lern_too_spel 9y agoWhy must you confuse a TechCrunch blogger with "the media?" Answering that question might be more instructive.
- mc32 9y agoIf they call themselves media, are they not media? Or are we to take the pre-internet ossified definition of media? I get it that some bloggers vacillate between being "just a blogger" and "I'm a journalist" when it suits them. But TC is not a one person org.
- lern_too_spel 9y agoGGP treats "the media" as a monolithic entity that lies, when it's really just barely edited blogs like TechCrunch and well-known trolls like The Washington Times, Breitbart, and The National Enquirer that are the main problem.
