take cost of living esp. housing into account?

  if you are in a FAANG level company add another ~$100k for total comp (bonus, RSUs, ect). housing maybe high on the west coast; but not that high.

    Yeah. Housing is high. Crazy high, especially in San Francisco itself. But the pay far, far outweighs that factor.
