Yes. If you're using Elastic Beanstalk, or Cloudformation with autoscaling, Fargate seems to be an incredible waste of money. Maybe if you have an extremely small workload that doesn't need a lot of resources running, I could see it, but at that point you'd be better off with Lambda instead?
