I have only a few pages left of Neal Stephenson's "REAMDE", which turns out to be better than I had dared hope.
- veidr 9y agoI came here to recommend Ancillary Justice too. A surprising, awesome sci-fi novel that won the Hugo, Nebula, British Science Fiction, Locus and Arthur C. Clarke Awards.

About halfway through the last in the trilogy, "Ancillary Mercy" and they've all been amazing and incredibly though-provoking books. Leckie released a book, "Provenance", this year that takes place in the same universe and at the same time as the "Imperial Radch" trilogy; haven't read it yet but it's definitely on my list.
