Full ACK on that. My point is that any author/creator/maker/crafter that expects to be credited for his work should make it really easy to find the relevant information about licensing/using content. To avoid exactkly these kind of things happening. Put it in the footer or the "About me" page, add a license blurb to all your entries in a blog etc. It's just a bit of one-time work but it helps a lot in building reputation.
