Why are 4K TVs cheaper than 4K monitors (same size) ?
Something to do with marketing and how the two businesses differ (TVs B2C, monitors B2B)?
Or are there actual major differencies in the tech? Like what panel is used or something like that?
- wernercd 9y agoEconomics of scale - many more TVs sold than computer monitors. - thescriptkiddie 9y agoNot sure if this is still true, but historically, TVs have had dramatically lower image quality than comparable monitors.
