The End of Net Neutrality Isn't the End of the World
- mark_l_watson 9y agoWell, the deal is that the Internet will be a less effective platform for supporting freedom and democracy when it is under tighter control of a few corporations. As a consumer I am not worried very much, although since my family lives in a rural area dependent on DSL, that will be a hit since I expect AT&T to drop DSL support as soon as they can because it is a loss for them - but as a common carrier they do have (or should have) responsibilities. For people living in cities, maybe not so bad until rates start going up.
