I think google tried to sell a productivity tool as a mainstream product, working with Wave as a CSCW ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer_supported_cooperative_work http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer_supported_cooperative_... ) tool has been a dream so far.
