Might as well start thinking about upgrading anyway. If the past is an indicator, Apple will likely stop releasing security updates for El Capitan in a bit less than a year.
- ako 9y agoStill happily running an iMac 24" from 2008 (harddrive replaced with an SSd). Apple considers this hardware too old for macOs Sierra. Probably will need to upgrade it to Windows 10 to keep it up to date.
