Nobody is saying to pay doctors according to undeveloped country standards. We're talking about developed countries with similar if not better health outcomes.
- bkovacev 9y agoYou're not getting my point. Salaries for doctors are too low for the Southeastern Europe standard. The whole point I was making is that you should not lower it as per your standards. It's good as it is.
- thinkcontext 9y agoThe point the article is making is that the US is getting significantly lower value out of their doctors than other comparable countries. They pay doctors more and get worse outcomes, which points to the conclusion that the doctors are overpaid for the value they provide.
