This article is clearly extreme left politically motivated and the title is intentionally written to incite outrage. The facts are the new proposed tax bill is unpopular on both sides. It would raise taxes for nearly 50% of the US, and also creates absurd new complex rules for individual investors regarding how they can sell stock. It also does not help (reduce burdens) on small businesses enough, which I am a part of. Small businesses are the fuel that runs the American economy.
- creaghpatr 9y ago>It would raise taxes for nearly 50% of the US Given 45% of Americans don't pay federal income tax, I am extremely skeptical of this claim. https://nypost.com/2016/02/24/45-percent-of-americans-pay-no-federal-income-tax/ https://nypost.com/2016/02/24/45-percent-of-americans-pay-no... Are you suggesting that a tax cut is actually going to raise taxes for all but 5% of Americans?

- nodesocket 9y agoI read and watch a lot of CNBC. Just found the page "GOP plan will ultimately raise taxes on 50% of Americans: Tax Policy". The caveat is by 2027 50% of Americans. https://www.cnbc.com/video/2017/11/21/gop-plan-will-ultimately-raise-taxes-on-50-percent-of-americans-tax-policy-center.html?play=1 https://www.cnbc.com/video/2017/11/21/gop-plan-will-ultimate...
- autokad 9y ago> "politically motivated and the title is intentionally written to incite outrage" I'm getting the feeling that a title with 'wag{} war' is a good indication that is about to happen.
