Yeah, personally I use it - I think it hits the sweet spot of making simple things simple while still allowing for complexity perfectly. It's a shame I can't really teach it, however - the fact is, it doesn't have enough mindshare right now and part of the reason people take courses is to learn marketable skills. For better or for worse, nearly every React shop is looking for devs who know Redux.
