What are some uses of Pushover? I've been looking for a solution to "sync" my notifications between Linux, iOS, and macOS. Is this it?
- sqrt17 9y agoPushover is great for events that are delayed or infrequent - say you have a job running on an AWS server and want to be notified when there is a result, or you want some alert when your traffic reaches (say) 80% of the possible load. It's a cheap and easy service that you'd use anywhere where "then send an SMS" would be your reaction - it's like an SMS but without the cost and/or length restrictions
