Sure, that's one perspective that's perfectly valid. But for something that doesn't remotely relate to things that "hackers find interesting," it got a lot of upvotes. I have no problem––obviously––with people not liking stories or thinking they're boring, but why kill something that's obviously popular with at least some segment of the community.
